FIT4MOM, the corporation behind Stroller Strides, is the country’s largest fitness program for moms, offering pre and post-natal fitness classes for every stage of motherhood. Classes began in the La Grange area in October 2013, and have now expanded to Naperville.
You can attend the FREE Naperville Stroller Strides Grand Opening on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Class is from 9:30-10:30 am at the Y Sports Complex. Expect a great workout, fun for the kiddos, giveaways, prizes and refreshments.
Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their children along for the ride. It includes power walking/jogging and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors (who are also moms), it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine to entertain and engage kiddos, so moms can focus on their 60-minute workout. We meet indoors during the winter, and outdoors when it’s warm.

Fit4Baby Prenatal is a prenatal fitness program that helps women exercise safely and effectively throughout their pregnancy. The 60-minute class is interval based, combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balancing exercises. The 8-week session meets once a week. Body Back is a results-based workout program designed for moms of any age. The workouts offer high intensity, interval formats that give a total body workout with an added combination of motivational support. Each 8-week session includes before & after assessments, 2 classes per week, Mama Wants Her Body Back DVDs, a nutrition plan, 1 red resistance band and food journals.
