Manhattan Irish Fest (Manhattan)
Friday, March 1 – Saturday, March 2, 2019
Come enjoy local bands and entertainment throughout this two day festival. Admission to ALL festival activities, as well as the festival grounds, requires each visitor to have an admission button. Children under 7 are free, when accompanied by an adult with button(s). Buttons are $7 in advance and $10 at the gates. No strollers are allowed. Buttons may be purchased prior to the event at many local businesses.

The Southside Irish Parade (Beverly)

Parade begins at 103rd and Western Ave and heads toward 115th Street. The parade has been a family tradition since 1979. Come enjoy a wonderful display of Chicago culture and Irish pride!

Saint Patrick’s Day Fun Runs

CNB Oak Forest Fleadh 5K (Oak Forest)

It’s the 10th Anniversary of this Fleadh (pronounced “flah”, which means festival in Gaelic). There are several viewing locations along Cicero Ave to cheer on runners, family, and friends.

Manhattan Irish Fest 5K (Manhattan)
Saturday, March 2, 2019 | 11:00 am
This is the only 5K race in North America that starts a parade, runs throughout the parade route, and is included in the festival activities. It is also the largest 5K, winter race in all of Will County. Wow!

Kristen Sheehan
Kristen is a Burbank native who settled with her family in New Lenox in 2016. Kristen and her husband have three amazing children – two daughters, ages seven years and 20 months, and a four year-old son. She also has a furry shih-tzu baby, who is 11 years old. The kids are active and energetic, but Kristen enjoys providing a mix of structured play/activities and downtime at home. She is passionate about keeping her family healthy and happy. During the winter, Kristen likes to go sledding and skating – as well as experiencing indoor play spaces. During the summer, she loves getting outside with her family – playgrounds, festivals, fairs, picnicking, bike riding, and trips to the zoo. Her kids love helping in the kitchen, and Kristen enjoys cooking and baking with them!
