It’s been a long winter, but spring break is coming up fast. It’s time to think about spring break camp! Whether you’re looking for an all-day camp with tons of variety or a few days for your child to explore an activity they love, we’ve got camps all over the southwest suburbs.

2019 Spring Break Camps in the Southwest Suburbs

Spring Break Camp at the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District (Homewood)
March 25 – April 2, 2019 | 8:00 am – 3:30 pm; aftercare available
Arts and crafts, games, special enrichment classes, and field trips at the Irwin Community Center for grades K–5. Check the website for details on spring break nature and basketball camps, too.

Spring Camps at the Joliet Park District (Joliet)
Dates from March 25–29, 2019 | Times vary
Joliet Park District offers half-day, full-day, and extended-care camps during spring break. Full week and drop-in classes available.

Spring Break Adventure Camp (Lemont)
March 25–29, 2019 | Half-day, full-day, and before care options available
At this camp for ages 5–12, kids engage with a different theme and activities each day. Sign up for certain days or the whole week.

Spring Break Camps (Tinley Park)
March 25–29, 2019 | 9:00 am – 11:00 am
The Tinley Park-Park District is hosting five different camps this year: floor hockey, basketball, soccer, chess, and art. See the park district brochure for more information.

Family-Friendly Weekend Events: November 15–17

Skyhawks Spring Break Camps (Orland Park)
March 25–29, 2019 | Times vary
Kids aged 6 to 12 can sign up for a two-hour daily Skyhawks basketball camp or soccer camp that runs the entire week of spring break.

Attack Volleyball Spring Break Camp (Orland Park)
March 25–27, 2019 | Times vary
Attack Volleyball’s camps for elementary and middle school students run Monday through Wednesday the week of spring break.

Young Rembrandts Spring Break Art Camps (Orland Park)
March 25–28, 2019 | Times vary
Kids 3 to 6 will create art around a “Down on the Farm” theme, while kids 6 to 12 will explore the world of anime and manga. Monday through Thursday.

Bear Paddle Spring Camp (Various locations, including Orland Park and Woodridge)
March 25–29, 2019 | Times vary
Five days of spring break swim camp help get kids ready for summer break.

Gym-Kinetics Spring Break Ninja Zone Mission (Mokena)
March 25, 26, and/or 27, 2019 | 10:00 am – 11:30 am or 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Sign up in the office for one, two, or all three days of this ninja-themed camp.

Spring Break Camps at the Plainfield Park District (Plainfield)
Options from March 27–29, 2018 | 9:30 am – 12:00 pm for ages 3–5, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm for ages 6–12
Preschoolers aged 3–5 explore spring themes through activities, books, and songs; Tuesday through Thursday. Kids aged 6–12 take field trips to local destinations, as well as watch movies, play games, make crafts, and more; register by day or for the week.

Kids aged 5–12 can enjoy crafts, sports, and a field trip at this week-long camp.
