RomeoFest starts on Thursday, August 2, 2018 with the Food Fest 1 Mile Race and continues with four days of music, food, family entertainment, a carnival, car show, and more. We have all of the details so you can mark your calendars! Be sure to check out the race below because the food samples included in the race are enticing… and then pair that with live music and some fun exercise? No brainer! And you’ll definitely want to keep scrolling to see what’s going on at RomeoFest through the weekend. There’s even a special needs day when those with special needs can ride the carnival rides for free!
Thursday, August 2, 2018 with heats starting at 6:15 pm
Race Location: Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Road, Romeoville, IL 60446
Start the RomeoFest fun with a family-friendly 1 mile race, DJ dance party before and after the race, and Sixteen Candles concert at 8:00 pm.

Food samples include your choice of three of the following:
- Genoa Italian Concessions: Hot Dog
- Feeding Frenzy: Ice Cream Cone
- Michael’s Pizza: ½ Slice of Pizza & Water
- Zacarelli’s Pizza: 3 Mozzarella Sticks with Red Sauce
- RS Concessions: Italian Ice
- la Cebollita Grill: 1 Taco (chicken, steak, chorizo)
- La India/Doggie Diner (choose one): Hot Dog, small Curly Chip or Churro
- Decadent Flavor: 4 mini donuts
- Lightening Events & Mgt.: Small Chicken Kabob
The race is $20 for adults and $15 for 20 years old & under and limited to 250 participants, so register today! Click here to register online. Please note that race day registration increases by $5 and is only allowed if the 250 participant limit is not met, so we recommend that you sign up ASAP!

Celebrate community with music, food, family entertainment, carnival rides, a car show, bingo and more. The Village of Romeoville fills every day with non-stop free entertainment for all ages to enjoy. The event is located at Deer Crossing Park (1050 W. Romeo Road) and Village Park (900 W. Romeo Road).
There is entertainment throughout the four days of the festival, including a carnival, live music, laser tag, character appearances, musical theater performances, fireworks, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, balloon twisting, exotic animals, science demos, magic tricks, and more. You can save with a Mega Pass for unlimited rides for all 4 days, available for purchase starting July 5 through August 1.

- Cost: $45 cash, $47 credit/debit (costs more due to surcharge)
- Available at the Recreation Center (900 West Romeo Road). Only available to purchase during regular business hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- On August 2 the cost goes up to $50 and is cash only
You can also purchase daily wristbands for unlimited rides on the day of purchase, which are $30 (cash only) or buy tickets for individual rides.

Kids 5-17 years old, time to show off your talent! Talents can include, but are not limited to: singing, dancing, playing an instrument, performing a skit, magic tricks or juggling!
