Libraries are wonderful places to cuddle with your kids and read books. We love the Thomas Ford Memorial Library. There’s an awesome replica of the water tower where the kids can play, a little table with different coloring pages all set out, computer games and a fun stationary train to take an imaginary journey or read books. There are free sessions of storytimes for different age groups that you can sign up for. If you don’t want to make a weekly commitment, various stores have free storytimes that you can stop by on an individual basis. In my search I also found that Barnes and Noble has an online storytime where a book is read aloud and the pictures are shown on the screen. Great for when you have sick kids and you need a break!
