Music for Kids

Being a mom for over a decade means I’ve listened to more kid’s music than any reasonable person should have to tolerate (Wheels on the Bus on repeat for 3 hours? Check). However, I’ve also found some tunes that the whole carpool can enjoy!

 

Here are some parent-approved kid’s music suggestions

They Might Be Giants has multiple kids’ music albums out; our favorites are Here Come the 1,2,3s and Here Come the ABC’s. There’s a new album coming out called Why?

Sesame Street has some awesome remakes and original hits by current artists, like Feist ; Jason Mraz, Pentatonix, Will.I.Am, Usher, Train, OK Go, Elvis Costello, One Direction and more!
