Jepsen Produce in Burr Ridge has been delivering the freshest produce to local restaurants for 20 years and is now offering that same service to your front door! Jason and Lauren Jepsen are industry experts and I was excited to hear that they are now delivering their wonderful fruits and vegetables to our homes.

Jepsen Produce selects the contents of each box with your family’s meals in mind. You will find staple items such as romaine lettuce, roma tomatoes, carrots, spinach, apples, oranges, potatoes and more. They also include new and exciting produce for you and your family to try which could include but is not limited to swiss chard, kent mango, asparagus, eggplant, papaya, radicchio, bok choy, and escarole. It’s a great balance of regular staples to make meal planning easy and more exotic options to introduce new fun foods!
Is it kid friendly?
Kids LOVE Jepsen Produce! Jason and Lauren have gotten a lot of feedback about how exciting it has been for customers to see their children trying new fruits and vegetables and making healthier choices! Recently, Jepsen Produce introduced their back to school box, which has been popular. Lunch prep is easy and kids are elated to get a box delivered to their front door just for them.
How does it work?
Jepsen Produce offers a weekly produce box for $30 with the option of adding Kids Back to School Boxes for $7 each. It’s easy to order through their website. For example, today is Sunday and I can order a box to arrive Tuesday through Friday of this week. One person will prepare, handle, and deliver your produce box straight to your front door with maintaining the highest level of cleanliness using protective equipment at all times, which I appreciate.
There are also unique and hard to find add-on items to choose from that change depending on availability. Add-on items have included corn, mangos, Morel Mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes, organic blueberries, rambutan, Carolina Reapers, coconut, passion fruit, cherries, Asian pears, black garlic, figs, chanterelle mushrooms, and Pink/Yellow Dragon Fruit.
Just recently they had Black Summer Truffles flown in from the west coast offered exclusively to Jepsen Produce customers!
Every Monday they go live on Facebook to show you each item in your weekly produce box and answer any questions you might have.
