Fluffy White Ghosts

My son brought home a ghost from preschool… it looked like he made it with white puffy paint, but when I asked the teachers they said it was shaving cream and glue! It looked like too much fun not to try at home.

Here’s the list of supplies you’ll need:
a bowl and spoon
colored paper
shaving cream
glue
white glitter (optional)

Squirt the shaving cream into the bowl- you’ll have to tip the bowl up while you squirt so the shaving cream comes out. Then sprinkle a generous amount of glue on top of the mounds of shaving cream. It’s basically like squirting tons of chocolate syrup on ice cream (maybe I’m just craving dessert!). Mix it together and you’re done with the prep.

Kids love spreading the creamy mixture with their hands and I would recommend getting an extra bowl of water ready on the table to dip their hands when they are done. I cut out pieces of black paper for the eyes and mouth, but you can also use those googly eyes from craft stores or anything else you can find to stick in there.

Depending on how thick the foam is on the page, it will take about a day to dry. Obviously you can’t save this artwork from now until eternity, but it will certainly last until Halloween.

Have fun!
