Bring toddlers, ages 2-5 to the indoor rock wall at Ackerman for Adult/Tot Open Climb every Monday from 9:30am-11am through November 2! Climbing is low impact and feasible for your tots and parents are welcome to climb too! The Open Climb is free to Glen Ellyn residents and $5 for non-residents, and no pre-registration is required. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian.

Spring Road Day

Spring Road Day is a kid friendly event that takes place on September 21st from 11am to 2pm. The event features: A petting zoo, pony rides, a moon jump, a kids' fun station, concessions, Elmhurst Fire Department and Elmhurst Police Department. All activities are held at Wild Meadows Trace Park near the Gazebo on Spring Road. Some activities have a small fee and food and drinks can be purchased at the concession stands.
