Waves of DuPage Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

FreeCome for the art, stay for the fun! Celebrate the unveiling of Woodridgeβs Ukiyo-e-inspired Lake Harriet art piece at a special ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Village of Woodridge, Woodridge Park District, and Woodridge Public Library.
π¨ MAY 21 FROM 4:30 PM β 6:30 PM: The Woodridge Public Library (3 Plaza Dr.) is hosting a free Waves Craft Station! Enjoy family-friendly cherry blossom art activities and origami folding.
π MAY 21 AT 5:00 PM: Be there for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and experience the unveiling of the Lake Harriet art piece! Celebrate with free Kona Ice, courtesy of the Village of Woodridge and the Woodridge Park District.
ποΈ NOW β MAY 19: Calling all artists! Bring Lake Harriet to life by coloring our special coloring page, featuring a beautiful scene of the lake. Show us your creativity with crayons, markers, or paint! Letβs make waves togetherβone colorful creation at a time! Winners will be announced at the ribbon-cutting, and all submissions will be displayed at the Fred C. Community Center starting May 23. Get your Waves of Woodridge coloring sheet at the Woodridge Park District ARC, Fred C. Hohnke Community Center, or click here to download a PDF. Make sure to submit your sheet at the ARC or Community Center by May 19 for a chance to win!
