It’s time to free yourself and your family from all electronic devices! This summer, unplug with the Wheeling Park District at your neighborhood parks. These community events are all about engaging with family and neighbors in beautiful outdoor settings.

June 7 at Heritage Park: 6:00-6:45 pm Miss Jaime’s Farm: One of Chicagoland’s favorite children’s performers gets everyone involved in a show featuring music and songs.
Free admission!

June 14 at Husky Park: 6:00-6:45 pm Superhero Training: Join Spiderman and learn how to be a superhero! Kids will also have an opportunity to take photos with Spiderman.

June 21 at Pleasant Run Park: 6:00-6:45 pm Jason Kollum: This high-energy and fast-paced comedy, juggling, and variety show will WOW kids of all ages.

June 28 at Northside Park: 6:15 pm Mr. Scott’s Giant Bubble Show: Bubbles big and small are part of this hands-on show!

July 12 at Mark Twain Park: 6:30 pm Jesse White Tumbling: Watch these professional tumblers in action.

July 19 at Horizon Park: 5:30 – 7:30 pm Trackless Train: All aboard! Kids and adults will love riding the Express Kiddie Trackless Train around the park!

July 26 at Denoyer Park: 5:30 – 7:30 pm Balloonist: Take home a balloon twisted into a unique, fun shape of your choosing. Attendees will have the opportunity to adopt a new best friend from Heartland Animal Shelter!

August 2 at Childerley Park: 6:00 – 6:45 pm Istvan & His Imaginary Band: Kids can’t help rocking with Istvan! His irresistible mix of interactive rock ‘n’ roll, country, pop punk and sing-alongs that get heads bobbing.
