Don’t take candy from strangers! Join us after the All Hallow’s Eve Carnival for trick or treating around the Apollo Recreation Center Parking Lot! Local families and businesses are invited to reserve a parking space in which they may pull in a vehicle, decorate with Halloween decor, and give out candy to the trick or treaters as they stop by. This is a safe alternative to trick or treating around your neighborhood. This event will be supervised by park district staff and parents are welcome to travel from trunk to trunk with their children. Don’t forget to dress up in your favorite costume and bring some non-perishable foods for our Haunts Against Hunger Food Drive! All food collected will be distributed to local food pantries just in time for the cooler months and holiday season. If the weather turns spooky, this event will not take place as scheduled. If you are interested in hosting a station during Trick or Trunk, please register at the main office. Note: No registration is necessary for trick or treaters!
Fee: FREE (Please bring non-perishable Foods for the Food Drive)
