The Fossil Lady

A living history portrayal of Mary Anning, the first female fossilist from England who discovered many dinosaur-aged fossils and helped change the scientific understanding of evolution and extinction during the 19th Century. This interactive presentation includes real life fossils and animal representations, as well as historic images. This program is designed for families with children ages 5 and up. Presented by an educator from The Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art.
