We donate the toys to the following:

– The Crisis Center for South Suburbia
– Catholic Charities
– The Village of Justice Holiday Food Basket Program
– Advocate Children’s Hospital (formerly Hope)
– Ronald McDonald House (near Advocate Children’s Hospital)
– La Rabida Children’s Hospital

Can I just stop by and drop off a toy?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Absolutely! The event is like an open house where you can come by anytime between 1pm and 6pm.

If you would like, you can purchase a food ticket to sit and enjoy some food, conversation and a visit with Santa!

The food ticket cost is $10 per person.

What type of toys are accepted?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The organizations accept new toys. The same type of quality toys you would give to the kids in your family, friends etc.
The following toys cannot be accepted:

– Toy guns or knives
– Stuffed animals.

Most organizations cannot accept those stuffed toys because of the material and possible hygiene challenges if the toys get wet and so on.

Do toys need to be wrapped?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

They do NOT need to be wrapped!

The organizations will actually need to be able to clearly view the toys in order to give to the appropriate age group etc. So, no need to worry!
