Scritch Scratch: A CHM Halloween
October 31, 2021, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Included in general admissionScritch, scratch. What’s that sound? Is the Museum haunted?!
Spend a spooky afternoon at the Chicago History Museum as author Lindsay Currie shares about her newest book, Scritch Scratch: A Ghost Story. Hear about Claire, a young girl who has absolutely no interest in the paranormal. She’s a scientist, and she can’t think of anything worse than having to help her dad on one of his ghost-themed Chicago bus tours. Claire thinks she’s made it through but then sees a boy with a sad face and dark eyes at the back of the bus. . .
See the story come to life! Put on your costumes and join us at the Museum to meet the author,* go on a spooky scavenger hunt in our galleries, and find out what creepy objects are in the Museum’s collection.
Event is FREE with general admission.
*Registration is required for meet and greet with Lindsay Currie.
