The inaugural Schaumburg Halloween Carnival invites Chicagoland families to experience two full weekends of nostalgic, family fun featuring spooky rides, tasty treats, trick-or-treating, seasonally themed arts and crafts, a beer garden and more. Entrance and parking to the carnival is free for all attendees.

What is sure to be a highlight for Chicagoland families this Halloween season, the carnival is hosting two premier food and beverage vendors – The Popcorn Wagon and Funnel Cake Trailer, who will serve classic carnival fare like funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos and more. Additionally, hot chocolate (served boozy or traditional style), soda pop and a selection of beers will also be available for patrons to enjoy.

Those bringing children to the carnival will be pleased to learn that Trick-or-Treat will be hosted by all vendors each day of the carnival. Children will be provided with a special trick-or-treat bag and can collect goodies from each vendor. Additionally, families are encouraged to stop by the facepainting booth and crafts tent to participate in free “make and take” kids crafts, such as DIY Halloween mason jar luminaries.

For Chicagoland families seeking screaming good fun, the carnival will feature popular rides from Fantasy Amusement Company, like the:

• Krazy Kabin
• Combo cars
