Night at Pawgwarts
October 29, 2019, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm$5
Harry Potter takes over the Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center as pets are sorted into Harry Potter “houses,” culminating in a “Night at Pawgwarts” event for kids on Tuesday, 10/29 from 5-7pm at 21 Salt Creek Lane.
The pets will be divided into houses based on their personalities as follows:
Gryffindor: Animals that value bravery and courage and are typically more athletic
Slytherin: Pack leaders who show ambition and are cunning
Ravenclaw: Intelligent, problem-solving animals
Hufflepuffs: Loyal, patient animals who wag their tails at everyone they meet
The evening will feature childrens’ games, crafts and activities presented by Village Children’s Academy, as well as Halloween treats, and shelter animals sorted into their Pawgwarts houses, illustrated with decorations by our volunteers and Compassionate Kids Corps children.
A $5 donation is suggested or a donation of supplies from the shelter’s wish list at hinsdalehumanesociety.org/help/wish-list.
Huggable “Hairy” Potter Stuffed Pets will be sorted into Pawgwarts houses too! Kids can pick their very own for adoption. Comes with an adoption certificate and HHS bag for just $15!
