Nature and Science at Wonder Works: What’s Inside?

August 30, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on August 31, 2019 at 3:30 pm

$8

Today we will use our senses of touch, hearing, and sight to discover what’s inside a variety of natural and human made objects.  Reach inside a box and let your sense of touch tell you what it holds. Shake a container to see if you can tell what’s inside just by listening. You can look at X-rays of skeletons and try to put pretend organs back inside a plastic body. There also will be magic tricks you can figure out once you look below the surface.
