Nature and Science at Wonder Works: Animals in Winter

January 17, 2020, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$9

How do wild animals survive winter’s cold? Meet live creatures that usually spend the winter in sheltered places, like deep in the soil, in rotten logs, or under water. Then help plastic and plush bugs, birds, mammals, and reptiles find safe places to spend the winter in the Great Outdoors exhibit. You can also touch real mammal furs and bird feathers, examine skulls and bones, and make bird and mammal tracks at the play dough table.
