Everyone is welcome to add events to the Kidlist calendar, given that they are drop-in and/or free special events (no ongoing classes or camps that require registration) and are local to the west and/or southwest suburbs of Chicago. Click on the blue “Submit an Event” button and fill out the form.

MSI Illinois Resident Free Day
An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Monday, repeating until January 31, 2019
An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, repeating until February 28, 2019
Illinois Free Days: Illinois residents receive free Museum Entry on these upcoming dates:
7–10, 14–17, 21–24, 28–31
4–7, 11–14, 19–21, 25–28

On Illinois Free Days, Museum Entry is free for all Illinois residents who show valid proof of residency. No further Chicago residency discounts apply on Illinois Free Days. Limited to six children (under 18) admitted per one accompanying adult. (See chaperone ratios and policies for School-led Field Trips and Groups of 15+.) Giant Dome Theater films, Coal Mine and optional U-505 onboard tours, and certain temporary exhibits are not included in Museum Entry, and require separate admission. All events will be reviewed before publishing to the calendar. Event approval usually occurs on Wednesdays; if you need your event to be reviewed before then, please email Annie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
