MLK Art Studio and Story Lounge

Poster Making with Visiting Artist, Derek Moore
Work with local artist and educator Derek Moore to create posters of hope and action inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Display your message for others to see in the museum or at home.

Story Lounge
Visit our story lounge to peruse children’s books on the civil rights movement, race, and identity. Listen to read-aloud stories throughout the day. Design your own MLK Day button to commemorate the holiday.
