Learn Irish Ceili Dancing

The ceili dance is a special Irish event. (“Ceili” is pronounced “cay-lee.”) At a ceili, people of all ages can gather together to enjoy dancing to traditional Irish music. Dances are done as couples or in larger groups. Ceili dances can be quickly learned and enjoyed by beginners dancing alongside seasoned dancers.
Live music and dance instruction will be provided by the Murphy Roche Irish Music Club and School of Irish Music.
Registration is optional, but encouraged if you would like an email reminder about this program.
In-Person Program. This program is held indoors. Please note the library’s current mask policy at ippl.info/covid19.
