The Last Fling is the largest annual fundraiser hosted by the Naperville Jaycees. It is a premier event in Naperville that lasts the four days of Labor Day Weekend. The group organizes and staffs the Last Fling in close cooperation with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District, numerous Naperville community organizations and tons of volunteers.
The event runs from August 30th – September 2nd and includes carnival rides, games, community and concert performances. For a list of events and directions to Last Fling (which takes place along Jackson Avenue), visit www.lastfling.org.
Labor Day Parade – Monday, September 2, 10AM
Don’t Miss the Gerald Kia Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 2, starting at 10AM. Preceeded by the Gerald Suburu Rooster 5K & Fling Mile, the parade will start at 10am with numerous entries that will wind thru Downtown Naperville. Stop by first at Le Pain Quotidien (Jefferson & Washington), Craftsman by Two Brothers (16 W. Jefferson), Eggs. Inc (220 S. Washington), Einstein Bros Bagels (22 W. Jackson) and Egg Harbor Cafe (175 W. Jackson) for a yummy breakfast sandwich, juices and coffee and enjoy the parade! (The 2019 parade will launch from Naperville North High School, head south on Mill Street, turn east onto Jefferson Avenue, south on Main Street, west on Porter and ending at Naperville Central High School).
