Fire Department Open House
October 1, 2022
FreeAfter a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Fie Department plans to bring back its Annual Open House on Saturday, October 1. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this interactive and fun educational event. The Open House is usually held in October to correlate with Fire Prevention Week. Fire Prevention Week was started by the National Fire Protection Association in 1922 to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Fire Prevention Week, which will take place October 9th – October 15th.
