2021 La Grange Holiday Walk

‘Tis the season for holiday magic – and this year is no exception! We’re ramping up excitement and lighting up La Grange with dramatic holiday activities, illumination and a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 4 to celebrate the season. 

From Santa Claus to singers – and ponies to train rides – the La Grange Holiday Walk is definitely a “don’t miss” event. Mark your calendar for a day full of fun, and check out all the festive offerings.
 
La Grange Holiday Walk Saturday December 4, 2021, 5 pm-9 pm

  • A beloved annual tradition returns to the village with the arrival of Santa by firetruck to the historic La Grange Village Hall to light the majestic tree. Holiday choirs and themed characters are part of the magic along with a petting zoo and pony rides, kiddie train rides, free trolley rides, perfect picture moments called Selfies with Elfies, oversized light displays, glistening ice sculptures. Open houses at local businesses round out the celebration.

4:45 pm Near Village Hall, All Village Sing, LTHS Madrigal Choir
5-9 pm   Business District, FREE Trolley Rides, Merchant Open Houses, Ice Sculptures, 
              Petting Zoo & Pony Rides, Kiddie Train
5:30 pm Village Hall, Santa’s Arrival by Firetruck
6-8 pm   Visits with Santa, Outdoor Caroling. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing while visiting Santa.
6-8 pm   La Grange Road Train Station, Visit with Frozen Princess & Friend
6-8 pm   Stone Avenue Station, Letters to Santa
