July 4 is not only a celebration of our nationโs independence and a special day in Americaโs history but a celebration of our freedom. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Every year, Americans honor the 4th of July as the birthday of the United States with firework shows, parades, and backyard barbecues while reflecting on our great nation with loved ones.
