Great Pumpkin Party

Gather the family and head out to Centennial Park to join us for a fun-filled day of fall activities! Build a scarecrow to take home, enjoy a casual hayride or pony rides in the park, roast marshmallows around the fire, join in the pie eating contest, dress up Fido for the annual costume pet parade, make a craft, enjoy sponsor activities & games, search for prizes in the straw corral or learn a new dance by Miss Kristin as DJ Greg Carter spins your favorite tunes.

Concessions will be available for purchase. *A nominal fee will be charged to participate at the Pumpkin Patch!

OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: CANDY GUESS & PUMPKIN WEIGHT GUESS—hint, it’s really big!

BUILD A SCARECROW |1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM Build a scarecrow to take home as a fall decoration. Straw, twine and bags (for the head) will be provided. Participants should bring clothes for their scarecrow.

PET COSTUME PARADE |1:30 PM Dress up and bring along your favorite (behaved) pet to parade around the “pet track”. Sponsored by Fetch Pet Care, prizes will be awarded to the Spookiest, Most Unique, Owner/Pet Look-a-like and Most Trendy. Pet treats to all our furry friends (while they last).

THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH* 1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM Search for that perfect fall pumpkin. *A nominal fee will be charged to participate at the Pumpkin Patch. All pumpkins $3 each. Limit of 2 pumpkins per family.

PIE EATING CONTEST | 2:00 PM Back by popular demand! Sponsored by Orland Park Bakery, contestants will compete to see who can eat a whole pie the fastest! Age groups include: 8 to 11, 12 to 17 & 18+. Prizes to all winners. Space is limited. Register on-site.
