In partnership with the City of Northlake, VPD brings you the The Mackenzie O’Brien Band, followed by the movie, “City Slickers”.
The Mackenzie O’Brien Band is Chicagoland’s hottest young country band consisting of full time musicians and fronted by the young woman referred to as Chicago’s new country queen! Mackenzie has had growing success and recognition in both the Midwest and in Nashville, where she regularly performs! The band covers songs from today’s country stars such as Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris, to stars of the past like Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings or even the Eagles!

Wednesday, July 27 at Bataan Park,  Melrose Park
7 PM: Live music by The StingRays
Movie at dusk: “The Sandlot”

VPD brings you The StingRays, followed by the movie, “The Sandlot”. The StingRays play the greatest Rock & Roll ever written authentically and passionately. The StingRays have a highly interactive show – children to seniors always dance, win trivia, join the Twist, Contest or Conga. Their costuming and moves reflect the era. They can bring their own sound and lights and add variety to a concert series.
