Dinopalooza Dino Derby

Included in general admissionDinopalooza is back and bigger than ever! Come celebrate SUE at this Museum-wide dinosaur extravaganza featuring Field scientists sharing their work, paleoart crafts, face painting, special tours, and so much more!
This year the Field Museum is partnering with iHeart Radio to bring Dino Derby to the Museumโs North Lawn! Dino Derby is a foot race for SUE wanna-bes to see who can win the title of SUEpreme speedster.
Children are invited to race in their favorite dino-mite outfits! Be it their favorite triceratops hat or a full costume. The childrenโs race begins at 11am.
At 1PM, adults will get the chance to duke it out dino style – that is, in full inflatable dinosaur suits. The fastest dino will receive a $1,000 cash prize!
Admission to the Dinopalooza festival is included in a general admission ticket to the museum. All Dino Derby participants must separately pre-register to race. See iHeart Radioโs webpage for full details.
