CONEX – Conservation Expo

Free Event, Live Animals, Craft Fair, Touch a Trex Skull!

CONEX (Conservation Expo) is a FREE, indoors, family-friendly event for ALL AGES celebrating the environment, human culture, and healthy living.

There will be LIVE ANIMALS, live music, face-painting, student-run tables, kids activities, and a LIFE-SIZED, TOUCHABLE T-REX SKULL from the Field Museum!

CONEX is also a FOOD/CRAFT FAIR, featuring several dozen small-business vendors selling locally-made products, such as scarves, essential oils, candles, photography, floral arrangements, and handmade jewelry.

CONEX will also have Fat Tommy’s Hot Dogs selling all-beef hot dogs, ice cream, and sides, and Doughs Guys in Palos Heights selling their signature cupcakes.

CONEX also features several dozen info tables from organizations like the Shedd Aquarium, Brookfield Zoo, Lake Katherine Nature Preserve, and Indiana Dunes National Park.
