Almost Winter Day
November 16, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Celebrate an An Almost Winter Day from 2:00-5:00pm at SEBA Park – Santa will arrive at 3:00 pm to sing carols and take pictures with the children before heading over to Footprints in Time Plaza on Route 31 for the annual tree lighting at 5:00 pm. Concessions will be sold by the FUNdation with proceeds benefitting local not-for-profit organizations. A nostalgic trip to the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve and back, including a reading of the Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg will be offered at The Trolley Museum for $1 per person at 3:00pm or 4:00pm.

Santa will arrive at 3 pm to sing carols and take photos with children before heading to the Footprints in Time Plaza on Route 31 for a holiday tree lighting at 5 pm. FUNdation will offer concessions. Get a cup of hot chocolate and walk over to The Trolley Museum. They’re offering a nostalgic trip to the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve and back, including a reading of the Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Trolley fee is $1 per person with departures at 3 pm and 4 pm.
