DuPage County Fair: New Additions and Fan Favorites

The DuPage County Fair is celebrating 65 years of being a place where our community gathers to explore, compete, learn, eat, be entertained, and have lots of fun! There will continue to be fan favorites this year as well as a lot of new additions. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 28, 2019!

Kids are FREE on the first day of the fair- Wednesday, July 24!! And mega passes are $10 off when you buy advanced tickets.

New at the DuPage County Fair

Butterfly Experience
Feed live butterflies and enter a house in which they are free flying. You can also learn about the butterfly life cycle and other facts about butterflies while you are there!

Stem–a–palooza
Enjoy activities surrounding science, technology, engineering, and math. Learn how to make paper, construct a bee-house, create energy to run a microwave by pedaling a bike, and more. There will be 15 interactive stations for kids to learn about sustainability and the environment!

Miss Jamie’s Farm
A favorite with littles, Miss Jamie uses her childhood growing up on a farm to create fun and catchy music for kids. With help from her animal puppet friend Miss Jamie entertains while teaching important lessons about animals and agriculture. She will be having shows at 10:45 am and 1:30 pm on Thursday, July 24 and 10:45 am on Saturday, July 27.

Istvan & his Imaginary Band
Istvan is a singer and guitarist who uses funky effects to entertain. Along with his daughter, who often joins him on stage, Istvan puts on a show that all ages, especially the little ones, are sure to love. He will be performing at 10:45 am and 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 24 and 10:45 am and 1:30 pm on Sunday, July 28.

Mr. Singer & the Sharp Cookies
Mr. Singer, Kerry Appleberry, and Marius Mustard create a high energy performance that sometimes involves puppets and painting, but always includes tons of fun. The Sharp Cookies will be performing on Friday at 1:30pm. 

DuPage County Fair Fan Favorites

Ag-Ventureland is full of hands-on opportunities to learn about agriculture! There are baby chicks, a mini tractor course, and some special four-legged friends.

See the Canines in the Clouds dog show of rescue dogs that takes place in the beautiful butterfly garden.

Pig Races are sure to entertain!

The Kid Davie Magic Show is a magic show especially for kids, taking place at noon each day of the fair.

Enter the Watermelon Eating Contest!

There are carnival rides all four days, live music of all types for all ages, dance groups, and lots of delicious food!

Location and Hours

The DuPage County Fair takes place on theDuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton at 2015 Manchester Road.

The fair starts on Wednesday, July 24 (kids are free the first day!) and continues through Sunday, July 28, 2019.

Doors open at 8:00 am daily so you can enjoy all of the extras at the fair, but the carnival hours are as follows:

Wednesday, July 24: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Thursday, July 25: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
Friday, July 26: – 11:00 am -11:00 pm
Saturday, July 27: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Sunday, July 28: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Tickets

General admission is $8 for children 3-12 years old, $15 for adults 13-61, and $7.50 for seniors. Children 2 and under are free.

A Mega Pass includes admission to fair and unlimited carnival rides for the day you choose. Advanced purchase mega passes are $25 and they will be $35 at the gate.

Group tickets are available at a discounted rate of $10 per ticket for groups of 20 or more.
