New! DuPage Children’s Museum is Offering Hands-on Programs Virtually

DuPage Children’s Museum (DCM) is a Kidlist favorite, so we were excited to hear that they are now offering virtual hands-on programs. They are experts at making learning fun! Whether you’re looking to supplement school curriculum, add hands-on enrichment to the day, or keep your children busy while learning and having fun, they have an option to fit your needs.

STEM with DCM 45-minute labs inspire students in grades 1–4 to experiment their way through engaging STEM challenges with a DCM educator. Arts & Maker After School is a unique virtual program that provides children, ages 4–12 years, the materials, tools, inspiration, and opportunities for collaboration that truly lets their imaginations soar.

STEM with DCM

STEM with DCM labs empower students to be the primary drivers of their own learning – by building, making engineering, and experimenting their way through engaging STEM challenges.

Each 45–90 minute lab is led by an experienced DCM educator and doesn’t require additional facilitation. Their NGSS-aligned (Next Generation Science Standards) labs motivate young learners to make big discoveries about science, technology, engineering, math, and art!

Six different topics are being offered at this time, with various dates and times so you can choose what works best for you! Options are available for individuals as well as groups. Click here for more information.

Arts & Maker After School

Children are curious, voracious learners! Arts & Maker After School is a unique virtual program that enlists the best of children’s abilities to problem solve, create, build skills, collaborate (make friends), and have a blast, all while becoming the future builders, makers, artists, and tinkerers of the world!

Working both independently at home and online with DCM’s Arts & Maker Specialist, budding engineers will find joy in the process and the confidence and inspiration to keep learning, creating, and investigating.

Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 3-5pm and sign up for a week at a time (or receive a discount by registering for 4 or more weeks). Click here to learn more and register!
